In 2001 I achieved an MA in Counselling at Thames Valley University. I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and NVQ level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development which complement my knowledge and experience.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (Bacp).
...But aside from this I am a proud father of 4 girls (my greatest achievement) and have been on my own journey through life experiencing both great happiness and also deep despair.
I have always worked helping others to make sense of their lives and to achieve direction, peace and a sense of harmony.
When training I wanted to inspire others and demonstrate counselling as not to be something to be feared but an opportunity to explore ones life. I have seen and believe passionately in people's capacity to change. I am also interested in working holistically and feel that mind, body and spirit are all linked. I also have a close affinity with nature and feel that a connection to growing and nurturing plants and trees contributes to our well being.
I believe we are more than the scars we carry and we are masters of our own future... I view it as a privilege to walk with you during our counselling experience and will listen and not judge and will always treat you with the utmost respect. Sometimes the first step is the bravest one...
